The One World Festival has been showcasing the best human rights documentaries for over a quarter of a century. This year, Brussels will once again be among the many cities hosting the festival. All 10 films screened here will be available to watch from April 7 to 11, 2025. Discussions with filmmakers, politicians, activists, and journalists—an essential part of the festival—will accompany the screenings.

Facing War
The future of countries at war is often decided not by soldiers on the front line but by men in glass buildings. Until October 2024, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was one of them, as he tried from the start to arrange negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
