We are building bridges between the City of Prague and the heart of the European Union through culture, dialogue and cooperation
The exhibition presents the conflict between the industrial world and natural environment, reflecting their intermingling, dialogues, and symbioses. On one side stands the industrial heritage, symbolized by heavy materials, such as (sheet) metal and technical constructions which shaped our landscape and society at the end of the 19th century. It is the spirit of the Pragovka Factory site and places alike having witnessed the transformation of the industrial era: from the excitement of progress in the early 20th century to the current skepticism about the gentrification of places with such a genius loci and the transformation of factories into new functional units.
Prague House
We would like to introduce the Prague House, the residence of the City of Prague’s Representation to the EU. This place is an integral part of Prague’s City hall, and all its activities are targeted towards promoting the interest of the City.
