On Tuesday 3rd March 2020 a debate entitled European “Future of Global Free Trade – Transatlantic Perspective“ took place at the Prague House in Brussels. The event was organised by the Delegation of Prague to the EU and the Institute for Politics and Society, together with the Aspen Institute Central Europe and the German Marshall Fund of United States.
The debate featured: Dita Charanzová, Vice-President of the European Parliament, Peter Chase, Senior Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of United States, Markus J. Beyrer, Director General of the Business Europe and Jan Macháček, Chairman of the Institute for Politics and Society. Jan Macháček was also the moderator of the debate. The following Q&A session included among other issues the role of various distinct actors in the world trade.
