On Wednesday 6 March 2019 a concert of the guitar virtuoso Štěpán Rak and his son Jan-Matěj Rak was held at the Prague House. Štěpán Rak is a personality that conquers his audience with the intensity of experience, the interpretation mastery and the absolute blending of the artist and the composer in one person. Jan-Matěj Rak has been for more than 10 years working on the music of Jaroslav Ježek which he rewrote for a solo guitar. The programme included pieces from well-known composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, George Jacob Gershwin, Jaroslav Ježek and Bedřich Smetana. The unique guitar concert project of father and son showed us the originality and a real mastery of both artists.
