The Delegation of Prague to the EU was honoured to present a young tallented painter Adam Štech with his exhibition “WATCHMAN” in the gallery of the Prague House. The official opening was held on April 7, 2016 and was ntroduced by the curator of the exhibition, Vilém Kabzan. Adam Štech graduated from the studio of Jiří Sopko and Vladimír Skrepl at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. In his paintings, he is often inspired by the masterpieces of art history as well as by religious kitsch images, trashy advertising attractions, film photography and other aspects of pop culture. The evening was accompanied by musical performance given by jazz singer Yvonne Sanchez, well-known Polish-Cuban jazz vocalist and Jonathan Ramirez playing acustic quitar.
