Meeting of Business Men and Academics

On 15.4.2008 the Prague House hosted a meeting of the representatives of international companies and the highest representatives of Academia organised by the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, the CZELO Agency- Czech Liaison Office for Research and Development, the capital city of Prague (Permanent Representation of Prague in Brussels) and the Microsoft Company. The theme was „Successful innovation clusters: How to make them happen?”. This meeting at the highest level was attended by, apart from others: Peter Chase, Economic Advisor, US Mission to the EU; Timo Haapalehto, Counsellor, Finnish Permanent Representation to the EU; Andrew Herbert, Managing Director, Microsoft Research Cambridge; David Kolman, Director, Czech Liaison Office for R&D (CZELO); Jiří Plecitý, Member of Cabinet of Vice President; Günter Verheugen, European Commission; Claire Tombeux, Head of Sector, Project Management Evaluation and Monitoring, Executive Representation for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI), European Commission; Richard Hudson, CEO and Editor, Science Business Publishing Ltd.
